On the Road

In addition to quality hospital facilities, the KDH Macedon Ranges Community Nursing team gets on the road right across the Macedon Ranges, to deliver thousands of home visits each year.

Our friendly professionals deliver expertise, equipment and empathy to support you to remain independent in your own home.

Because we’re a local hospital and a healthcare hub we understand the transition between hospital and home, and we make it easier for you to move between them as you need to – including contact with the larger tertiary hospitals.

Our highly skilled team is multi-disciplinary and includes qualified nurses, occupational therapists and physios, plus 24/7 access to urgent care with GPs and specialist nurses at the hospital.

Macedon Ranges Community Nursing

Our MRCN team delivers a range of care programs from different funding streams:

It can be confusing to understand what care program you need, but we can help you to work out what you’re eligible for, so that you can access the program that best meets your needs, whether it’s private or through NDIS or My Aged Care.

Our network means we can help you to navigate the healthcare system to connect with the right services, resources and professionals.
