Ms Maree Cuddihy – Chief Executive Officer
Maree is an engaging leader with extensive senior executive experience in public health in Victoria.
Her experience includes professional responsibilities as a Director of Nursing, operational responsibility as General Manager of Broadmeadows Health Service, and subsequent General Manager of the Northern Hospital, a 323 bed acute facility with a budget in excess of $200M.
Prior to joining KDH in 2014 Maree held executive responsibility at the Northern Hospital for Strategy, Clinical Service Planning, Human Resources, Clinical Governance and Research, as well as several Board subcommittees.
Maree holds a Master of Business Management (RMIT), and post graduate degree and certificate qualifications in nursing. Maree has represented her profession and organisation on several State, National and Ministerial committees, including the 2016 review of hospital safety and quality assurance in Victoria.
Ms Karen Laing – Deputy CEO & Director of Nursing, Quality and Community Engagement
Karen is a highly experienced senior health executive with tertiary qualifications in nursing and health administration.
She has expertise across a range of core clinical governance and engagement areas, and is highly regarded for motivation, influencing and team building skills, and a demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes.
Karen is well known across the health sector in the Loddon-Mallee and Central Goldfields regions where she has previously worked, and for valuable experience gained in the metropolitan, regional, public, private and not-for-profit health sectors.
Dr Peter Sloan – Director of Medical Service
Peter commenced as Kyneton Hospital’s Medical Director in March 2013.
He has extensive experience as a Medical Director in both rural and metropolitan settings, including Eastern Health, Bendigo, Traralgon and a number of smaller health services.
Ms Gaye McCulloch – Director of Corporate Services
Gaye is an experienced accounting professional with significant additional broad skills in administration, general management and project delivery.
Prior to joining KDH in September 2018, Gaye was at Northern Health where she gained a detailed understanding of key aspects of the health industry. She has a sound understanding of the policies, financial and operational parameters for Health Services in Victoria.
