Approximately 170 dedicated staff work to help Kyneton District Health deliver Best Care to the people of the Macedon Ranges.
Our team includes services staff in the kitchen, offices and grounds, executive managers plus skilled nurses on the ward and on the road.
Many of our nurses hold advanced or specialist qualifications, including our midwives and rural and isolated practice endorsed registered nurses (RIPERNs), and some work part-time at large metropolitan hospitals, which strengthens KDH’s connections.
We have a strong commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and positive workplace, with professional development so that everyone can keep up to date with clinical advances, health issues and learning opportunities.
By working together we became the Premier’s Small Rural Health Service of the Year in 2017.
