Kyneton Health Visitor Restrictions Eased

As community restrictions across the country begin to ease, we will progressively return to normal visitor access. For the time being, any visits to Kyneton Health need to be controlled and screened to manage the risk that COVID-19 presents to patients and staff.

As a first step in our gradual unwinding of visitation restrictions, we will introduce safe visits from Monday 11th May.

Our guidelines require that all visitors:

  • Agree to have their temperature checked
  • Always keep socially distanced from the patient and employees at a minimum distance of 1.5 metres apart
  • Have no more than two people visiting at a time
  • Stay for no longer than 60-minutes

Over the next month, if Australia continues to see a reduction in COVID-19 infection rates and the proportionate risk to our staff and patients is reduced, the frequency and length of visits may be increased and/or the allocated times may be extended to include evenings and weekends.

We will continue to offer visits to family members on compassionate grounds according to the personal situation of the patient, as we have done so during the past month. Please contact Kyneton Health directly if this relates to you.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this current climate.
